Dr. Scott Emery and City Centre Chiropractic would like to welcome Andrea Wilson to the team. Andrea has a doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine and is a board certified Acupuncturist.

In 1999, Andrea graduated from Queen’s University with a B.A.Sc. in environmental engineering. She worked for a few years as an engineer, where she developed her abilities to problem solve and think critically. Dismayed by the overall lack of connection she experienced in her work, she moved west to Golden, BC and in 2004 went back to school to study massage. During her massage practise, she became increasingly curious about the inner workings of the mind, body and spirit. After several years of practising massage, she still felt as though something was missing from her work. Motivated by an innate curiosity as well as her own personal health issues, she felt compelled to learn more about how to live in true health. Nearly a decade after studying and practising massage Andrea moved to Nelson, BC to study Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which she considers to be a balanced marriage of science with the healing arts. Fueled by her love of learning and a strong desire to help others, Andrea practises with genuine curiosity and a true passion for her work.

Andrea is a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCM. P) and is a graduate of the 5 year Doctor of TCM program from the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in Nelson, BC.
